The display system inside a professional control console rarely comes straight off the shelf. Panel layouts drive the solution: non-standard display sizes, custom cover glass, bonded front surfaces, touch integration and embedded computing configured around the enclosure rather than the other way around. Our LED stage lighting application note works through one example end to end. On a front surface that has to survive a working stage, VacuBond® optical bonding, a state-of-the-art bonding process developed by FORTEC, improves readability and durability by eliminating the air gap between the display and cover glass, reducing internal reflections and helping protect against condensation and vibration.
