RoHS Compliant
RoHS is an EU directive for the restriction of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment
The RoHS-II directive became effective on January 2, 2013, and the RoHS-III directive on July 22, 2019. The main differences between the RoHS, RoHS-II and RoHS-III directives are:
- The scope of the directive was enlarged.
- CE compliance declarations must include the RoHS-II directive.
- The substance bans declared by RoHS-II and RoHS-III have been regarded by all FORTEC Integrated products since the directive took effect. Therefore the enlarged scope of the RoHS-II and RoHS-III directives is irrelevant to FORTEC Integrated and no action must be taken.
- FORTEC Integrated adapted the CE compliance declarations of all end products when the RoHS-II and RoHS-III directives came into effect, and provides them for customer use.
FORTEC Integrated GmbH hereby confirms that, according to current knowledge, all products sold by FORTEC Integrated GmbH comply with the 2011/65/EU and 2015/863 directives.
These products meet the current requirements of the RoHS directive for all 10 designated materials:
- Lead (Pb): 0.1%
- Cadmium (Cd): 0.01%
- Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB): 0.1%
- Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE): 0.1%
- Hexavalent chromium: 0.1%
- Mercury (Hg): 0.1%
- Butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP): 0.1%
- Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP): 0.1%
- Dibutyl phthalate (DBP): 0.1%
- Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP): 0.1%
