As an example, we have created a video in which we operate a DITO touch sensor with a 4mm thick PMMA protective screen with different gloves and under the direct influence of water. Even with a combination of an industrial standard glove and a chain glove, the touch works flawlessly and does not show any false triggers despite wetness. The controller is programmed in such a way that the water droplets are exactly differentiated from the actual touch process.
