DMC PCAP Touchscreens with Water Detection
August 27, 2014
With the water detection function, the touch controller can identify the presence of water and rejects all inputs after exceeding a certain threshold. Once the water is wiped off, the touch is working normally again. The protection mode is being reported to the computer via USB, so that a warning can be displayed on the screen.
On our DMC PCAP page you can watch a video demonstrating the water detection function.
