What Are the Options for an 85 Inch Industrial Display?

For an 85-inch display in an industrial or signage design, the first decision is brightness. We supply two Innolux 85-inch panels that share the same Ultra HD resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels and differ mainly in how bright they are: the S850DJJ-D02 at 500 cd/m², and the S850DJJ-T05 at 2,500 cd/m² for bright ambient light and direct sunlight. What do the two 85-inch panels have in common?

Both panels have an active display area of 187.2 × 105.3 cm, roughly 1.87 by 1.05 meters, with Ultra HD resolution, a 5000:1 contrast ratio, and high color saturation. Super MVA technology gives a viewing angle of 89° in every direction, so image quality stays consistent when the screen is viewed from the side. Both panels take their signal over a V-by-One high-speed interface, for fast and stable data transmission.

Which 85-inch panel fits: 500 or 2,500 cd/m²?

The S850DJJ-T05 is the one to specify when the screen faces bright ambient light or direct sunlight. At 2,500 cd/m², it keeps high color fidelity in conditions that would wash out a standard panel. The S850DJJ-D02, at 500 cd/m², gives the same resolution, contrast, and true-to-life image wherever ambient light is not the deciding factor.

How do you drive an 85-inch V-by-One panel?

With a controller or computer configured for the panel, which we supply as a ready-to-connect kit with all the necessary accessories. There are three options:
