E-Paper monitors are lightweight and perfect for 24/7 operation because they do not show any burn-in effects despite static images. Power is only required by the monitors when the image content changes, so they have extremely low power consumption when the image content is predominantly static. Their paper-like appearance without backlighting is pleasing to the eye and the content is perfectly readable even when viewed from the side.
