TFT Controller With New Capabilities: The Prisma-IIIA

For the proven Prisma-IIIA TFT controller board, the FORTEC Group has developed two new options: first, it is now possible to define a 4-digit password for the OSD menu to protect it against unauthorized access and to prevent any unsolicited adjustment of parameters such as the brightness. Second, the customer can now define the influence of ambient light on the display brightness. So far, the controller regulated the display brightness in a defined ratio to the ambient brightness, measured by the ambient light sensor. Now the user can easily set several brightness points of ambient light versus backlight brightness in the OSD menu and the display brightness will be adjusted to the ambient conditions as defined.

The Prisma-IIIA is our most powerful VGA / DVI / HDMI controller board for single and dual LVDS TFT displays with a resolution of up to 1920×1200 pixels. With an operating temperature range of -20 to +70°C it is also suitable for harsh environments. The User Software MarsRover allows numerous individual settings, such as LVDS timings or power sequencings.
