Which Tianma and NLT Industrial TFT Displays Suit OEM Designs?

Tianma and NLT (formerly NEC) industrial TFT displays suit OEM designs that need wide, symmetrical viewing angles, long-life LED backlights, and long-term availability, in slim panels with the LED driver built in. The current models below run from a 7-inch WXGA display with PCAP touch to a 15.6-inch full HD panel, and we supply each with the controller, touchscreen, and cover glass to make it a working display assembly.

Which display fits a slim or sealed device?
- The NL10276AC30-53D is only 6.3 mm deep with a narrow bezel, and still offers lateral mounting. It draws only 8.5 W, which suits mobile systems, and its 500 cd/m² brightness and -20 to +70°C range allow outdoor use. It has an anti-glare coating and an integrated LED driver.
- The NL192108AC18-02D is also 6.3 mm deep, at 363.80 x 215.90 mm, with 72% color gamut. Its backlight LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours to 50% of initial brightness, about 5.7 years of continuous operation, and its 13.9 W consumption allows 24/7 operation in closed, self-contained systems such as medical diagnostic equipment. NLT also built the 15.6-inch NL192108AC18 with an eDP interface.
- The NL10276AC30-48D uses SFT (IPS) technology for stable grayscales, no color shift, and a large color space, with an integrated LED driver, a replaceable long-life LED backlight, an anti-glare coating, and an operating range of -20 to +70°C.
Can a 7-inch Tianma design move to another size?
Yes. Under Tianma’s family concept, the display connector of the 7-inch WXGA displays is compatible with other displays in the WXGA series, which makes it easy to switch diagonals. The TM070JVHG33-01 is the 7-inch WXGA display with a 5-finger PCAP touchscreen and front glass already fitted. Which Tianma displays are discontinued?
- TM116VDSP01-00: 11.6-inch full HD, 1600 cd/m², -30 to +80°C, 176°/176° SFT viewing angle, LVDS.
- TM116VDSP02-00: 11.6-inch full HD, 1600 cd/m², -20 to +80°C, 88° in all directions, LVDS.
- TM070JDHG34-00: 7-inch WXGA, 600 cd/m², -20 to +70°C, SFT wide viewing angle, LVDS.

How do you turn a Tianma or NLT panel into a display assembly?
We supply the panel as a plug-and-play kit with one of our Prisma TFT controllers, with custom cover glasses and a choice of touch panels. We bond the touchscreen and protective glass to the display with VacuBond® optical bonding in Ronkonkoma, which leaves no air gap between glass and display. That reduces light refraction at the surfaces and improves readability in bright surroundings without raising power consumption, and the bonded unit is more robust against vandalism and dirt in public and industrial areas.
