Which 10.1-Inch Industrial TFT Displays Offer WUXGA Resolution?

For a compact industrial display with a high pixel density, the current panels we supply are AUO’s 10.1-inch G101UAN01.1 and G101UAN01.0, both WUXGA (1920 x 1200), with the 10.1-inch G101EAN02.2 where WXGA (1280 x 800) is enough. We supply each with the controller, touchscreen, and cover glass to make it a working display assembly.

Which one fits your design?
- The G101UAN01.1 is the brightest of the three, readable from all viewing angles, and built for industrial automation, point-of-sale systems, and other demanding applications.
- The G101UAN01.0 is the competitively priced WUXGA option. Its eDP interface connects through an LVDS-to-eDP adapter board or as a complete kit with one of our TFT controllers.
- The G101EAN02.2 brings WXGA at a very attractive price, with an LVDS interface, and we supply it as a plug-and-play kit with our TFT controller so it runs right away.

How do you add touch and a cover glass?
With a projected capacitive touchscreen, with an I²C or USB interface, and a protective front glass, optically bonded to the display. We bond them in-house in Ronkonkoma with VacuBond® optical bonding, which connects display and touchscreen securely and also improves the bonded unit’s sunlight readability and its robustness against vibration and shock.
Which 8 to 13.3 inch high-resolution panels are discontinued?
Several panels we supplied in this range are end-of-life:
- AUO G080UAN01.0: 8-inch WUXGA, 500 cd/m², 89° viewing angle, MIPI interface, together with the PrismaMIPI-HDMI controller board developed for it.
- AUO G101EVN01.2: 10.1-inch WXGA, 500 cd/m², -20 to +70°C operating.
- AUO G133HAN01.0: 13.3-inch full HD, 400 cd/m², 178°/178°.
- Ampire AM-19201200B1TZQW-00 (10.1-inch WUXGA, 1000 cd/m², -20 to +70°C) and AM-19201200B1TZQW-T51-A (850 cd/m², with a built-in two-finger PCAP touchscreen).
If one of these is designed into a product you still build, give us the part number. We find drop-in replacements or compatible products, and customize them mechanically or electrically where needed, as part of our obsolescence management.
Tell us where it has to work, and we will take it from there. We recommend the panel, add the controller, touchscreen, and glass, bond the assembly, and stay with the project from first samples to series production.
